Article – Las Vegas ice cream truck mistaken for ICE vehicle: ‘I’m an ice cream man, that’s it’

Holy Crom, real life really is made up of…things you can’t make up.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Social media posts mistakenly identified a law enforcement-themed Las Vegas ice cream truck as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle, leading its owner to fear for his safety.

“ICE and Border Patrol don’t use trucks from 1985,” Billy Settlemyers, the owner of Las Vegas Ice Cream Patrol, said Monday.

Last week, a person posted a video of Settlemyers’ black-and-white truck driving into a neighborhood with the caption: “Please be on the lookout for ‘ice cream’ trucks… they play music to get people to come outside… this is actually so sick.”

While I normally have no love for the federal government, I have even less love for parasite illegal aliens…so, I am, generally speaking, on board with the recent uptick in immigration enforcement.

Other than that, this is just an amusing example of people not reading whats right in front of them, and also underestimating the feds ability to be sneaky.

  1. Many people think themselves more clever than they are.

This reminds me of the person who “figured out” that an AK-47 was so named because it was an “automatic killer” that could shoot 47 rounds a second, or some such silliness.

  2. The truck’s paint scheme and graphics are a caricature copy of the local Las Vegas Metropolitian Police Department’s cop car paint and graphics. (Black and white) That is the what was the city of Las Vegas proper police and what was a sheriff’s department. (Merged together decades ago as an agency) Anyone not a retard locally knows this. I want to see criminals get “Vanned” like Ukraine goons rounding up draft dodgers and grabbing people off the streets for their patriotic meat grinder service. Or perhaps taking down running away pedestrians with net guns like Arnold in Total Recall for even more lulz and laughs. All of this will indeed go kinetic and spicy since the problem was allowed and enable by the people you have voted for. Enjoy the show.

      • Copy that sir. Hollywood is kinda tough to keep track of anyway. Doing these tactics a few times and having tikky tokky vidyas would hasten voluntary departures as well. Expect Azatlan gangs barricaded and shooting it out with cops next week. Stay frosty.

    • To me the takedown of Michael Clarke Duncan in the movie The Island would be a thing of to watch, assuming the illegal was a serious criminal type.

  3. I’m waiting for an article that shows how other countries deal with undocumented immigrants. Mexico requires a year long process for say a teaching position and an essay on how the applicant isn’t taking the job away from a citizen. Actual reality is the government goons assault the folks south of their border and steal all their stuff.

Germany and Israel require a valid passport, statement of income and some amount of cash/credit or they don’t even let you off of the plane at the airport. When crossing into Canada on our motorcycles they asked where we were going, who we knew, where we were staying, what route we were going and how much money we had on us and the credit limit on our credit cards. They also made it clear that it is a crime to work without proper authorization.

Republicans consider illegals as a cheap and easily exploited workforce with no voice or rights (routinely cheat them out of pay and benefits) and the Democrats consider them a potential voting bloc, so the problem will never go away.

    • The problem would go away if we enforced the laws we already have on the books. Maybe this new sheriff in town will restore the rule of law and punish those who benefit from these crimes.

      • As usual .gov goons are going about it in the least efficient, most expensive way. Need to hold them for a hearing. If the forms were falsified assess a fine and demand they reimburse ALL EXPENSES! Any money they received from any .gov agency gets paid back with interest and fees. If they do not have the cash they can sign a labor agreement and sell it off(Foxcon type work). While they’re at it have them testify against anyone or group that assisted in bringing them here and falsefying the paperwork. Go after these groups/individuals with fines and felony convictions but no jail, just home confinement. We will need the wall to stop them running for the border. The .gov will be flush with cash and a ton of employment opportunities for citizens.

        • yea, Americans are lining up for their jobs lol. I thought Convicted Felon trump the Didler built the wall in his first term. lmao

  4. so in truth, what were the locals afraid of?
honestly if ICE were to for fun, go from one end to the other and do a cleanup, half of the population in Vegas would be gone and crime would be cut in half.

  5. A few decades back, I checked out a school bus from my Air Guard unit, to move some Civil Air Patrol cadets to an activity. The bus was a typical Bluebird school bus, painted Air Force Blue (Ultramarine shade 15045), marked appropriately for the US Air Force.

So, I pull off the freeway near the pickup point, waiting for a traffic light – and a bunch of illegals are standing around, waiting to get picked up for day labor. The guy who was riding with me decided that it’d be hilarious to open the door, and yell “La Migra” (Immigration).

Most all of the illegals started running. Two decided a trip home would be nice and tried to get on the bus. Fortunately, the light turned color and I drove off.
