Don’t forget the LDS store for great prices on dehydrated staples. They still beat anyone else on like items.
Dang I have not seen that inventory at our local Winco
I’ve noticed that selection and prices vary store to store.
I still wish there was a store closer to me.
Potato gems are killer

In your opinion, whats the best LTS food to get, considering taste and real calories?
That kind of leads me into another question, sorry.
Is there a recommended percentage of food storage parts? Like 50% LTS, 40 regular food from store, 10% canned, etc???
Hard to beat canned meat and peanut butter for dense calories and taste.
Any tests of the powdered butter? Otherwise prices look good if space allows.
Did anyone else notice the Dutch Farmers Party made huge win in election last week? Not quite enough to change PM but enough to ham string his agenda.
VT, I’ve read probably scores of reviews on butter powder, trying to answer the same question you have. Best I can tell, it’s best added to baked goods. If you want to make something resembling spreadable butter, most folks use quite a bit of coconut oil or other oil, which makes sense. I’m hedging my bets by storing both powder and those little cans of Red Feather butter.
