Very nice CZ! Just got two deliveries of magazines for the AR15 and Glock platforms. They are in a nice wall locker filled with AK, CZ etc magazines as well. The past few months I have been submitting EFORM1’s and building my own suppressors not only as a hobby but to bypass the insane wait times on waiting for a purchased suppressor from a manufacturer. Also put in two large orders for spare parts from a vendor to ensure I have everything I need for the coming times to repair for folks and ourselves. I really need to stock up on more BCGs though, using a lot for builds right now.
Perhaps I am living in a Pollyanna world, but I don’t think that it is necessary to run out and buy dozens of magazines just yet.
Joe Biden admits now that he has no authority to ban “assault rifles.”
In the primary debates, Kneepads Harris claimed that if Congress didn’t ban “assault rifles” within 100 days that she would do so by an executive order. This was pure bullshit. The Libs supporting her, though few in number, were mostly too stupid to understand that she had no power to do this. It was pure cynical, political nonsense.
Biden supposedly wants to lay a $200 tax on “assault rifles,” and even their magazines. If so, any change like that must be made by an act of Congress. In the unlikely case that Congress would pass a law like this, the matter would then be challenged all the way to the Supreme Court because it is an obvious example of “the power to tax is the power to destroy,” much like proposals to lay absurdly high taxes on each bullet sold.
As long as Georgia’s Senate seats remain Republican, the 2nd Amendment enemies will remain thwarted.
About Georgia, I suspect that Lin Wood is a double agent. He is a long time Democratic contributor. He is telling Georgia Republicans to stay home on January 5. This is insanity. He seems to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
“Just yet”
But then won’t they be even more expensive and less available at that time? I’m of the opinion that it WILL happen…I simply cannot predict when. But, since I am certain it is going to happen, buying them as early as possible, at the lower prices, seems a good value. The only way it doesn’t work out for me is if the ban , in fact, does not happen. In which case all I’ve lost is the opportunity cost of not having spent that money.
I understand your position. Those with the discretionary funds with which to make very large purchases of magazines won’t be hurt by buying them now. They can always dispose of them at current retail prices later, I suppose.
With the recording of Biden raising the white flag on the issue of banning “assault rifles” by executive order, and acknowledging that the President does not have the power to do this, it appears that he won’t even try. As a matter of logic, if he doesn’t have the power to ban a firearm type, he would have no power to ban a magazine.
If Republicans can just hold onto Georgia Senate seats, any effort by Biden to obtain Congressional approval will be dead in the water.
Any Judas Goat who says that Republicans should boycott the January 5th Georgia run-off should be lined up against the nearest red brick wall.
Given Biden’s degrading mental acuity, I’d say that future legislation really isn’t up to Biden but rather up to whomever is pulling Biden’s strings. Just because .gov thinks it can’t do something NOW doesn’t mean the won’t try it later. Additionally, disregarding executive action, there is still tons of room for a ban on state levels (except, perhaps in the Ninth Circuit for now), and ATF is just one ‘determination letter’ away from a de-facto ban. Just because the biggest guy in the room says he isn’t going to punch you doesnn’t mean his smaller buddies won’t.
