I mentioned to my son last week that the best part of virtual, on line, learning is it will limit the communist and shall we call thug life propaganda my grandson gets from being in an actual school building.
While true, the closure of colleges and universities gives them extra time to be in the streets applying their Marxist teachings.
that’s what i was thinking. more bored “protesters” with time on their hands.
Straight forward truth right there.
At least stop federal funding for ALL colleges, since our Constitution has ZERO provisions to provide for any Education. Education is and always has been a “State” issue.
Having said that, stopping funding to colleges would help, but it would not prevent the root cause. It would simply be like eating the icing on the cake before you eat the cake. IE: The root cause is the public school system, where the impressionable are simply indoctrinated before being sent to colleges where the icing is applied. Much of it has to do with parents not taking/having the time to question their kids learnings of the day, and telling junior “thats bullshit”, here is where you’ll actually find the facts (the real story). And then show them how and where to actually find the facts…. Now watch their eyes light up with wonder…..
They’re your kids, you are responsible for their education, not me or some other proxy.
There is also the challenge of finding out what happened at school. Kids don’t like to talk about anything they don’t think is special. To them the school system shoveling lies and BS is just another Tuesday and not worth mentioning, little Jimmy falling on his face in recess is much more important. “What happened at school today ?

That is every day when I interrogate my kids about school, finding out when something is wrong is a multi hour exercise.
I have the same problem with my kids! I ask my kid until she gives me the answers to what did you do today until they match what the teacher said they did.
of course one added benefit is they lose money on all that room and board, and some have to reduce the tuition as well. i’m hearing from kids that say why bother and go into tech training. some of my senior cadets said screw it and went enlisted instead. strangle the beast.
We may be missing the greatest opportunity to reform education. The teachers don’t want to teach,fine. Fire them all,set up a national online system without all the socialism save billions a year on taxes,pensions,indoctrination centers and have a better educated(real learning and tests without phony grades for inner city hell holes) students.
