Cold out there today, but any day at the range is usually a fun one.

Looks like a nice setup. I just got my paperwork back last week and picked up my Omega 30 cal. can. It goes nicely with my Silencer Co suppressor for my various .22’s. I was very impressed how well it worked on my Ruger American Ranch in 5.56. I’ve got to say, I enjoy shooting a lot more when it’s with suppressed weapons.
Peace Out,
Now, if you could do it with a revolver, Christmas Wish.
Peace
Can you please do a review or opinion on which ruger 22 pistol is best? Or which you most prefer?
I have an sr22 which I like but just wondered about the other 22 pistols made by ruger….
Great blog btw
Just shot the SR22 this weekend. I prefer the bigger, full size pistols like the Mk II,III,IV. If I were going to pick one Ruger .22 and buy five of them , it’d be a threaded barrel version of the 22/45.
Thanks dude. I was leaning that way but now I’m leaning even more that way.
You should do more ruger reviews and become the unofficial ruger review guy….
Thanks for all you do
First off, Merry Christmas to all. Now on to the business at hand. I have a question for everyone out there regarding so called “silencers”. Reading the other day, that the only part of a weapon considered a “firearm” is the actual lower receiver, the part with the actual serial number. The remainder of the assembly is considered by the BATF as “parts” or accessories, and are thusly not controlled. How can they get away with controlling a so called silencer as it is not necessary for the function of any weapon and can only be considered an accessory or individual part. Other than the fact that they are simply a bunch of cheesy bastards that lie for a living and want to $200 bucks for keeping track of who has one. A silencer is nothing more than a muffler is for a car. Not necessary for it’s use, but nice to have if anyone places any value on their long term hearing. Just wondering!
I would imagine it is spelled out in the NFA legislation.
