“If you are part of a society that votes, then do so. There may be no candidates and no measures you want to vote for … but there are certain to be ones you want to vote against. In case of doubt, vote against. By this rule you will rarely go wrong.”
― Robert A. Heinlein, Time Enough for Love
Where did you see the I voted sticker, and headed towards the bunker. I want one!!!
I agree – particularly in regards to new levies or taxes (same thing!). I vote against them unless their is a very good argument made for them, and I’ve only seen one good argument made for a levy in the past decade, and it turns out they were lying when they made it, so I won’t vote for any more levies from them!
I usually vote against the incumbent – unless the other person is worse.
No really decent choices, just old faces on our ballot but still went straight red. The status quo is more like Ground Hog Day around here.. We really are two separate nations now… Just waiting for the right spark to ignite.
I just wish that Hillary lady was on the ballot this year. I thought she had some really good ideas.
