Patriots Day and 25th anniversary of Waco atrocity

‘Tis Patriots Day!

You know what to do, you know where to do it! Get out there!

—————

It is also the 25th anniversary of the ATFE burning down a building full of women and kids in Waco Texas. This utterly inexcusable atrocity was the impetus for ‘militia movement’ that the 90’s was known for. To this day there are still a lot of unanswered questions from Waco. It continues to serve as an excellent reminder of what government can do when it wants to. As a result of this incident, and the Oklahoma City Bombing several years later, April 19 is a day of extra caution in some government agencies.

  1. Actually, I believe it was the TH I who was in command during the fire. Tho there were reports that someone in the building was moving around starting fires.

  2. Yes, “reports from reliable sources” that someone inside set the fire. Reliable reports had weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and now Syria. These overpaid idiots can’t even come up with fresh material.

  3. 23 years ago today is OKC bombing… retaliation of sorts for Waco…as well as Ruby Ridge

  4. SOF Mag did several articles on that fire. Especially on the CS gas and rounds the FBI decided to use. The conclusion of everyone who knew anything about that CS was that the results were expected, and intended, by the user. That was not accidental. Hell, the MANUFACTURER warned against using it INDOORS! Stated that would be the expected result if so misused.

  5. Being an Appleseed Instructor, I set up a Red Coat target. Took two passes to clear the target.

  6. Remember lads, after the revolution (the 1776 one) it was years later that descendants of said participants went on a campaign of memorialization of the events, historical preservation of course, but also with intent of hoisting family names and creating a cult-dogma-uber patriotism for continuation of the program put in place. Yes with force, whiskey rebellion anybody? I thinks there will be a whole new rewrite of much of the post 1913 ‘merica about a decade after the dust settles and there is a re-group, re-equip, re-orientation of things.
