Don’t forget, guys…,.This year Paratus falls on September 15th. You’ve got about three weeks to get your gifts lined up.
Also, this is, I think, the third or fourth year of Paratus. Let’s get it some recognition. Ask your online vendors if they’re having Paratus Day sales. Mention it in your blog. Start nagging Hallmark to make cards. Get your friends (and me) something nice.
It’s a fine holiday, with noble intentions, in need of more acceptance among the masses.
I just did my Paratus shopping early: two Remington 700s and an AR-15. Whoo, debt! Livin’ the American dream, baby!
I just bought this…this thing is pretty sweet…color choices could be better…Fenix CL20 165 Lumen dedicated camping light with EdisonBright CR123A Lithium battery https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O053AUI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1EEOzbT5Q2Q2C
Off topic, but interesting… Did you know Paratus is a genus of araneomorph spiders? I didn’t until I was looking up Paratus on a search engine and got pointed to a site about spiders.
“Araneomorphae (sometimes referred to as Labidognatha) is an infraorder of spiders. They are distinguished by having fangs that oppose each other and cross in a pinching action, in contrast to the Mygalomorphae (tarantulas and their close kin), which have fangs that are nearly parallel in alignment.”
I like the ” fangs that oppose each other and cross in a pinching action” part. Very relatable to many situations. Thought you’d enjoy learning this tidbit.
