Uh is this mic on? von Krag here with FvK news. You do have a modest amount of dried and caned food, my question to you is, How do you tell what that can is if somehow the label goes missing? As a followup what is your method of assuring you do use those cans on a first in, first out basis?
Joking aside, nice setup on both.
The Mountain House stuff has coding sprayprinted on the bottom of the cans.
As well as the dates.
Although its almost academic since the shelflife on the #10 cans of freezedrieds are 20+ years.
You could definitely squeeze a lot more ammo into that ammo shelf.
Dont make the mistake of thinking thats the only ammoshelf.
i think Commander Zero’s ammo stockpile would stun even Burt Gummer
I say with all humility, I tried to take a picture of the other ammoshelf but it wouldnt fit in the frame.
Just wondering. Why just the 4×2 cross bars, why not an actual shelf?
Otherwise a VERY nice setup.
To do the bunker justice, you’d have to use Autostitch to make a panorama 😉
Why spend money on unneeded materials?
Because you may have something smaller than an ammo can you want to put on that shelf?
Recycled 2×4’s were the only material I had to work with.
Well if that’s all you had, I won’t complain.
Not related to your post, but… Happy Thanksgiving!
Warms my heart to see those two Welfare Services cans on the shelf! 🙂
Send more!
Thank you, sir! You as well!
at least
you got a sensible storage system. as for using re-cycled wood, that saves on purchasing shelves from home depot. got any shots on storing your fuels? nice pictures there!
Wow Commander, you constantly prove yourself to be the exemplar of the prepared individual.
So true. I r0x0r up to 11. Women want me, men want to be me. Verily, I rocketh.
Actually, its a good example of what happens when you have alot of time on your hands, a paranoid imagination and no kids or wife to spend money on.
