Really, it’s hitting the point where I’d almost say there’s an industry-wide ‘gentlemans agreement’ going on to get as many AR’s out there as possible before November.

I bought a few yesterday! Now just wait for the uppers to go on sale.
Our general store has stocked a large number of AR type rifles lately. I was hanging out in there the other day and I asked the guy at the counter why? They usually go big on shotguns and hunting rifles these days. He said people have the hives about Clinton getting in and are laying back these rifles. Makes sense. Low price and a perceived need.
I ordered 2 of them today. Plan to make one into the truck gun I have been wanting pretty soon and keep the second for a rainy day.
Also seriously considering major purchases of PMags and 5.56 ammo but I’m going to sleep on them.
If you don’t have a FFL or the local FFL dealers charge $40 – 60 to receive the lower for you then those prices really don’t matter. Can’t even find a stripped AR lower in my area for under $60. I’m thinking of getting a dozen or so of the Korean Glock or the CProducts alum mags to resell once November gets here. I remember those crap Scherer Glock mags that were being sold for $40 each at gunshows back then, Israeli Orlite AR mags being sold for $30, I bought one Sherer mag some years later for $10 just as a keepsake of what not to buy. Currently stacking Steel cased 9mm and 223, there are some deals out on the interwebz lately.
I’ve found the Korean Glock mags to be less than ideal.
The 33’s I tried were total crap. It’s factory Glock or nada. When Glock pmags are like $13 why go Korea for standard mags.
Well I ended up with 2 complete ar’s. Total price with all parts including rear sight and all shipping came to $630 each. Not bad at all.

$269 and $189 makes for a $458 AR carbine.
