  1. I like the water cone. Solves a very basic problem, requires no batteries, won’t be hurt if you get it wet, easy to use even if you are solo and injured…

  2. I want that foot-powered pump. I’ve been pondering a “backup” for my well pump lately, should power go out. I have a pipe down into good water, but no way to draw it up.

I liked the comment on the Mini Aid Tent – “This further enhances the car’s use as a social tool.” Uh-huh.

  3. my company bought one of these

it has the craziest voice when it speaks to you. My co-workers and I made fun of it…

“IT PLACES THE PADS ON ITS CHEST, OR ELSE IT GETS THE SHOCK AGAIN!”

even comes with a razor to shave hairy peoples chest.

  4. i saw those awhile back. while its a cool design the people that manufacture them are insane they want hundreds of dollars for what amounts to not much more than a 2ltr bottle with a large plastic plate.

  5. The foot powered pump, solar still, and the portable toilet seem to the most practical products. The rest are prime examples of what happens when designers are given free reign and run amuck. They’re overengineered, overhyped and overpriced. (Kinda like the HK P7 pistol…)
