A buddy of mine brought this to my attention:
Whether your interest is in preparedness, homesteading, or sustainable living, you will find a wealth of information. Come learn valuable skills at many excellent training sessions, connect with preparedness-minded attendees, obtain hard to find equipment, supplies and advice you need from a wide variety of vendors present at their booths. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t want to miss! Our venue will be the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center, with its convenient location and ample free & easy parking.
I’ve never been to one of these events, but I think I might wind up going. If nothing else, it’ll be interesting to see all the cool stuff the vendors have to offer.

I get it….a musical performer has died and it’s noteworthy. Sure. But think of all the crazy crap that is going on in this world and then tell me that the passing of a musician shuld be the top story in the newscycle for several days running. Priorities, man…..
Regarding the EXPO. I don’t attend these things due to paranoia and license plate readers, although I think I’m going to hit this one as I’ve missed several in the years past. I want to see what these peeps have to offer. Plus, I’m sure Patrice and Enola Gay will attend and I”ve always wanted to meet them.
As for this musician “Prince” bullshit, it’s all about diverting attention from something else but I haven’t been able to figure out what it is. I mean we are talking full court press for a minuscule clown. Something else is going down that the PTB want to divert attention from but I haven’t been able to figure out what.
Priorities indeed. You are not alone in this thought. At least no one called him a Hero.
agreed. i’m a fan but i’m about sick of hearing about it at this point. what’s worse, he had about a thousand unreleased songs so we’ll be hearing about it for years to come just like jackson. ugh. i’m off to the river for two days, no prine or trump, just beer and solitude.
Some friends & I went to one of these a few years ago. We weren’t too impressed. But it does look like there are more booths this year. One of the businesses that will have a booth this year is one I’m familiar with – Bug-N-Out in Deer Park. We shop there occasionally.
Wish I could go if Commander Zero does, but it happens to be one of my volunteer days. Maybe another year!
I’ve been to the one they hold here in the SE. Not a bad show, I go mostly for the speakers and not really the vendors. Did get to meet Dr. Joe and Nurse Amy from Doom and Bloom at their booth, they were doing brisk sales.
The speakers I go to hear are the local farms and sustainable growers, I take lost of notes. I’ve learned quite a bit from these shows but I never really saw it as a place to try networking. Don’t mind me, I’m just a dewey eyed newby walking around.
