Do you not ever get your fill of ugly olive drab things? 😉
Although the axes on the side are a nice touch for zombie control.
M715 1 1/4 ton. Interim model between the M37 and M880 Dodge trucks. Supplied with and w/o PTO front-mounted winch. Fuel capacity: 28 gallons – Cruising range: 220 miles. Built by Kaiser Jeep from 1967-1969. What do they want for it?
If you aren’t wanting to keep a low profile at all. But it WILL do good on flooded-out roads.
Well, you can paint them, you know.
As for low profile…this from the shaved-head, red-cylinder-bashing, gun pimper himself???
Yes, well, you see the…
Right. Well.
67 to 69 are the best years for FSJ’s. My 68 Wagonner is awesome. Dana axles at both ends, Spicer transfer case, turbo 400 tranny. Mine has the 327 Vigilantee engine, but the 715′ had the Tornado 6’s which are tough as hell and have good torque. I’ve had several of them and the only thing that ever broke on one was a tierod steering 44’s that I welded for a homemade suspension lift. I beat the crap out of 4×4’s on the trails, but perform good MX.
If it is reasonable you can make your money back on it at any time.
Second is the Military Vehicle list. Lots of old phartes there with knowledge on these things and where to get parts, tricks, etc. Go to mil-veh.org to subscribe.

I always liked the Dodge weapons carrier, but I think it needs a lift kit, bigger tires and one of these;
I still want a LAV-25 😛
Every vehicle should have one of those.
Except maybe a Honda CRX. They should be on the receiving end.
You rang?
Actually, I don’t know that much first hand about these. Folks that have em seem to like em.
Two places for lots of knowledge on the MV subject where US vehicles are concerned.
http://www.steelsoldiers.com/ There’s an M715 specific forum. Plus others on Deuces, 5 Tons etc.

I’d hit it.
