Well, for twenty bucks I guess its worth taking a shot….
I suppose if youre going to do something sketchy and want a one-time-use barrel these would be useful. But, of course, that would be wrong…
All kidding aside, these might be a good choice for hose of you out there doing 80% kits and are trying to part together the cheapest Glock-clone possible.
Do most Glock barrels fit Gens 1-5? I thought 1-3 were different from 4 which is different from 5? How different I can’t say and I could also be thinking Glock parts generally not specifically barrels.
Agreed. Fits ‘Gen 1-5’ isn’t a thing to be taken seriously.
Trying to part together the cheapest glock clone possible. This post will assuredly activate legions of gun cobblers, churning out specimens like a cold war factory, out in every FEMA region hinterlands. Kind of inspiring in a spiritual way, really. If your friends or neighbors receive frequent brown or white truck deliveries, and has a hobby that keeps them in a workshop for really prolonged periods, this should be of some concern to you. As you should really check in on them as a professional courtesy. Bring over some beverages and make deeper friendships. They may need a hand welding plate steel on a dozer, or some help with finish and assembly work on consumer end use products. These soft belly, gravy days, of a still functioning consumer economy may not hold up. Idle hands gets boring anyway, so go and build ’em out accordingly, staying extra frosty while fabricating some fun stuff.
Save your money folks and buy from another source. I ordered 6 of these barrels from Combat Armory for 3 different models and every one of them was returned. The machining on them was terrible. The chatter on the rifling was so bad, it looked like they were reamed with a rat-tail course file. The leads were all short and would not chamber my 124 grain NATO rounds.
I heard from a reliable source that these barrels are Bear Mountain rejects being sold as CA manufactured. When I gave them an honest review on these barrels, none of them were posted. This is the case with them on reviews unfortunately. Mike @ CA customer service was very helpful in sending me a return label when I explained all of the issues to him and funds were returned to my account.
Some folks have received decent barrels, but myself and six others who ordered received trash.
Thanks for the heads up

“I suppose if youre going to do something sketchy and want a one-time-use barrel these would be useful. But, of course, that would be wrong…” I read in a book that you would also need to swap the firing pin…
And extractor….
Looks like the do their own Glock clones too. Inexpensive like PSA.
Thanks for posting this. I ordered one. Fred C.
I ordered one. Fast shipping. Received it yesterday. Sending it back. The lands were not smooth. Should have looked at the other posts on this thread before ordering.
CZ – Have you received your Combat Armory barrels yet? If so, have you looked down the barrels and measured the lead with a live round? Just curious if they are still sending crap out.
They all have some degree of chatter to them, but when I got them they were marketed as blems. However, and this is kinda of a salient point, I haven’t actually shot them yet. Perhaps this weekend.
