Several people sent me gifties for Paratus, and I am grateful and I think they were all very thoughtful and well done. I wanted to point this one out in particular because..well…maybe its just the way life has been going, but I severely ‘lost my crap’ when I saw this and laughed until I cried:

The 2nd shock I got this weekend was not so welcome – in fact downright depressing but that is how Life is. You and your readers may already be aware of this, but it appears that James Dakin (Bison Survival blog writer) has passed on from a sudden illness. I just learned of this yesterday – man, that sucks ! It has been a short while, May 5, 2022 since this happened. A Righteous Dude that walked the walk.
