Typical. I buy something and then after I buy it they reduce the price:
Guess I’ll buy another one of these because.
$7.50 for a LifeStraw is a no-brainer for something that you can leave in a pack, vehicle console (almost said ‘glove compartment’), truck box, emergency kit, or what have you. And, at that price, also make good gifts for your like-minded friends. (And, really, at this point in our societal devolution, if they aren’t llike-minded why do you have them as friends?)
If it’s less than 30 days since purchase, Costco will usually refund the difference when something goes on sale.
n
and yeah, no brainer at that price.
Noted.
I’ll have to see if the SoCal establishments are similarly stocked.
Much like 25-year rations, etc., I rather doubt it.
But it’s worth a look.
$7.50@ is a screaming deal.
Well, depending on how many you want, I could grab a few and dump them in a Flat Rate box for you.
That’s a very kind offer, but you both would save time and fiat if you just odered online. When you price in flat rate shipping and time/gas – online is the way to go.
The Manhattan Beach / Hawthorne CA store has plenty in stock.
On line Costco $39.99 for 4.
Time for the monthly COSTCO run.
Well, they have a 10 package limit. Damn, I can only purchase 40 life straws at a time!
Thanks for the initial posting, I picked up a couple since I missed them last year. Check your receipt. The sign was incorrect at the beginning of the sale – listed at $49.99 then $10 off when I was there. My receipt from 5/25 shows it rang up at $39.99 and then $10 off that. I try to avoid Missoula as much as possible so I appreciate your posts when you find something good, unless you’ve cleaned them out already.
“unless you’ve cleaned them out already.”
Hey, you know I love you guys…but …. I gotta look out for Number One first. (Or Number Zero, I suppose.)
