Shot a buddy’s AR with one of your BattleComp devices this weekend. Really impresive! Any chance you make a .308 version for the HK/PTR series of .308 rifles? Or, if not, any chance I can get one of your .308 ones before it gets to the threaded part of the production process and have my guy thread it for me?
And the unfortunate reply:
Unfortunately, we are completely tied up with current product manufacturing.  If we are able to do more custom work in the future we will post it when available.  Thank you for your support.

  1. I wouldn’t think grabbing an un-threaded 30 cal comp off the production like and shipping it out would be classified as custom work but that’s me. It does make me think that they’ve outsourced all the production and only get in finished units.

Any chance you can have a rifle re-threaded to match their thread pattern? I know that you’ve got to watch that minimum barrel length though.

  2. Should be possible to have a threaded adapter made. RTG makes one to fit G3 flash hiders to ARs:

So it ought to be possible to do the reverse: 15mmx1 female threads and whatever male thread is needed for the BattleComp. Cost shouldn’t be too terrifying either. It’s just a couple of threads in a piece of steel round stock after all.
