Surprise, surprise….I got the Sportsman’s Guide HQ catalog today and they actually have these babies available.  These are the most awesome gun storage container you will ever come across. I like them better than the Pelican cases, the only drawback has been finding the darn things. They are metal, lockable, stackable, chainable, and about as resistant to damage as you can get without being from Krypton. Awesome for keeping stuff in the bed of your truck since it’s waterproof, crushproof, takes a standard padlock and can be cabled/chained to the bed of the truck. I can’t say enough about these things. The only source I’ve found over the years was from Natchez shooters supply but they’ve been outta stock for a while.

Cheaper than a Pelican case of comparable capacity, these things are the shizznits. It’s one of those things where I feel confident saying that if you pick up one (or more) of these you will very much not regret it.
