For me, there is no victory in the ‘war on terror’ until I can get on a plane with an unopened 20 oz. bottle of Coke in my pocket and no TSA fingerprints on my crotch.

How about actually being able to fly with a pocket knife, which I did in ’99.
You know, if we could request a TSA molester of our preferred sex it might go over better….
Steelheart
Amen to that, this probably will just piss them off, and, make them more determined than ever to destroy us.
My thoughts exactly. It is a symbolic victory at best. Personally, I find it odd that people react to the death of anyone with joy. Nothing has really changed. Osama seemed to be dormant for years, and we can’t have that. We need an active enemy to fight against. The new guy to replace OBL will be presented by the media as a monster, and our own govt will continue to take away our rights for our own safety.
The media is fawning all over Obama for this great accomplishment, as though he was the trigger-man on SEAL team 6. He needs a bump in the polls.
Here, here. It just goes to show you how easily people are fooled with propaganda. Nothing changes. This was timed as a PR boost, and that’s exactly what it is an attempt at.

Lots of questions about Bin Laden situation.
total propaganda..OBL has not been Al Qaedas leader for years. has had to hide ALL the time since 911. his other leaders would not be around him for fear of being killed with him. the mujihadeen is not dead and they are still pursuing their dream of a caliphate.
To all, i’ve waited for almost 10 years for this news to come. My brothers have been avenged, rest in peace boys…OBL, see you in hell Mike Foxtrot. joe, F.D.N.Y.retired.
